We entertain audiences with performances at world-class hotels, shows in private homes, at social events, and in music videos. Book us for your next event to keep the buzz going long after the show. We are often booked as surprise guests to add excitement and make it an unforgettable party.

Show Details

Our Needs to Perform

  • Access to a private changing room and bathroom at the site of the performance.
  • Access to a regular power outlet on the pool deck for our sound system if we are not coordinating with a DJ.
  • Access to look at the pool before the event to see if we need extra cords, etc., and to note the parameters and features of the pool; depth, width, length, steps, diving boards, deck-space, etc.
  • We need to set up before the event commences to do a sound check and become familiar with the pool for safety reasons.
  • We need to bring 2-4 support people to manage the sound system and assist swimmers with costumes, hair, make-up, etc.
  • We request a 20% down payment that will go towards the Performance Fee if we perform as planned. If, at the time of the event when we are set-up and present poolside- if we must cancel the performance due to weather e.g., thunder/lightning, we may choose to reserve the downpayment.

Examples of Types of Shows

  • Synchronized swimming routines typically are 2-4 minutes in length, but we have done longer swims.
  • We typically have at least three routines to present with 3-6 swimmers per routine, plus duets and solos.
  • We can schedule a routine presentation periodically during the event, e.g., once every 15 mins over 1 hour.
  • Or we can present routines back-to-back (with short breaks if needed).
  • Length of time of cumulative routines depends on how many swimmers are available on the date, etc.
  • We can do a custom routine with a theme and/or using music of your choosing that may continue for 15-25 minutes as a backdrop or as a shorter featured presentation.
    • We need four weeks to prepare a custom routine.
    • Under certain circumstance we may be able to work with musicians on site to do an improvisation.

Equipment and Supplies We Bring

  • Our own sound system that is equipped with an underwater speaker and a regular speaker for the pool deck.
    • We may need to tape down or cover cords with a heavy rug to prevent tripping hazards. We bring tape.
    • We can work with a DJ if our underwater speaker can be patched into a DJs system.
  • We will do at least one costume change if there is time between swims
  • We bring bathrobes and towels
  • We have insurance coverage
  • We have a tax number
  • We bring vehicles to transport swimmers and sound system - We need access to parking for unloading and loading.

Fee

  • Depending on number of swimmers (number of swimmers can be limited by the size of the pool), the distance we travel, the type of routines that are agreed upon – e.g. custom, improv, routines we already know, and how many performances we give, the fee is typically $1000-$2000.
  • 20% down payment due 1 week before Performance Date. Down payment goes toward total fee. Down-payment non-refundable under certain circumstances. See above “Our Needs to Perform”.
  • Payable by check to DC Synchromasters or by venmo @DCSynchromasters
  • Fee may be reduced or waived for certain events, i.e., community non-profit organizations.
